It will be totally devoted to college sports.

ESPN, once again, capitalizing on a great market. Will be interesting to see if they go big time on showing college baseball. Would make sense that they do.

If this is true, that's awesome. Hopefully college baseball will get a national following.

You have to believe that there will be big money in it for them. How many millions of college football and college basketball fans are out there? Smart move.

They will be showing a lot of college stuff. I'm waiting to see what and how much. One thing I remember them saying is that they would show lacrosse. We will see. :usaflagwa

This is a good idea, I just hope it doesn't sink CSTV (College Sports TV), which you can get with DirectTV.

CSTV televises lower level college games, baseball, and anything the other networks won't televise that is played between two schools. Last night they showed the Men's and Women's NCAA bowling national title match ups, so this network will show anything. Anyway, I like CSTV because they show a bunch of different coaching shows. Two nights ago I got to watch LSU Insider with Saban (on their Coach to Coast show). I also got to see Carr's Mich football show, Tubby and AU, Mack and Texas. It's great. It's perfect for Alums who want to keep up with their school, who would have thought I could watch LSU Insider in Los Angeles?

ESPNU is a great idea, as long as they keep it dedicated to college sports and show a wide range of sports. I'd like to see more baseball games (which I'm sure LSU would have more than a few televised nationally), basketball (For the schools that don't get shown all the time), and all the other sports that are fun to watch at 2:00 am like bowling, golf, handball, field hockey, etc.

If you have DirectTV and never noticed CSTV, it's in the sports section of the guide. You have to check the descriptions to see which coaching show is on, they play them all under the title "Coach to Coast".

By the way, if you do have CSTV . . . tonight at 11:00 PM (Pacific Time) "Retrovision" is on . . . tonight it features the 1983 Orange Bowl between LSU and NEB. Also tonight, "Coach to Coast" features. . . Texas, Baylor, and Cal.
