This will be a GREAT opportunity to grow for the new coaches. The players will learn a lot from the extra practice and from the challenge of playing a Petrino offense.
Lamar Jackson is the real deal and he can give LSU problems but I can't see how they stop us. I'm thinking this will be a 54-34 type of game.
This will be a very good test for Aranda and our D and I will be very interested in seeing what Eaux has in store for the Offense between now and then. The closest team in regards to style of O that we saw this year would probably be A&M, which saw us giving up 39 points (mostly in the 4th Q) and 427 yards, so we will need to tighten up a bit, though I think it is fair to say that we let off the gas on D a bit later in the game.
We sure as heck should be able to run on them, but I don't want a shoot out, though I think your prediction is probably pretty close.
