He is a through and throught nutcase if he thinks the flagship university in the state is going to shut it's doors and that Tiger Stadium is going to be empty this fall. That simply isn't going to happen. That said, the state does need to consolidate some of it's colleges. We are supporting too many for a state of our size and population.

And he knows it isn't, that's what make his thoughtless speech so infuriating. He damaged the state and the universities just to create panic that benefits him politically.

He's a Plaintiff Lawyer so unfortunately/fortunately he's thoroughly fucking incompetent......good thing is he offended just about everyone in the state with his speech, should be a one and done. I can just see campaign slogans now promising to keep LSU football.
