Do yall actually think that a walk-on is going to come in and start over the other two QBs on the team?

The reason this guy was brought in was for depth not to start.

Yeah, but it's fun to play what-if?

Anybody know exactly what a preferred walk on is? How is it different from a regular walk on?

    LaSalleAve when in doubt, mumble

That's what I'm saying, if by chance this guy plays, something had to have gone terribly wrong. Even then I don't think this guy will play because that would mean Les would have to make a change at the position, and while he made a change this year early, I don't see him doing it twice in one season. I mean the wheels and the spare would have had to completely come off and be on fire for him to do that don't you think?

Considering we do not have a 2015 commit, at least I don't think we do, the depth at position makes sense. We have enough talent that our QB doesn't have to do much but get the ball to the playmakers. If you consider we should have beat this years NC without one, any production from that position would be great. If we get some production and depth at the position we should look good next year.....I know we say that every year but I like to hope!

A preferred walk on is guaranteed a spot on the 105 man roster and doesn't have try out like other walk ons. They can also join the team in off season work outs. I think there are a couple other small perks too.

What about Felipe Franks, or is he 2016? They are also trying to get Shea Patterson, right?
