the thing about SEC and other college nicknames

That seems to be the theme of all the anti-Bush people this year. The biggest thing that ticks me off is for instance, Charles Rangel going to Sudan and protesting for "human rights" when nobody seems to even think about Saddam committing human rights violations.

 

Aren't we the only school to have a live bengal tiger as a mascot?? If so, it seems we would get the Tigers name simply because our mascot is the best - being as how it's real & all.

 

He's absolutely right. When I went to MSU this past year for the game, me and a buddy from MSU barbequed, and he said it was funny because MSU stole UGA's mascot. Oh well. As far as Auburn goes, regardless of what their first mascot was, Plainsmen is just a cooler name, IMO. Does any other school have plainsmen?

Names I know six Georges and seven Ralphs

I do not have trouble with names .I know six Georges and seven Ralphs. I do not have trouble knowing where each one lives . The Auburn tigers I call Auburn The War Eagles here is the proof for that The Auburn War Eagle There ain't but one TIGER and that is Mike GEAUX TIGERS !!!! and here are his paw tracks .Which lead all the way to a National Championship !!!P>S> It seems that the Auburn Tiger is the name of the War Eagle to the AUBURN fan it means a bird not a Tiger
