If Kobe isn't in the crossbar motel, we are going to find out what he is made of this season. We shall see, I think he'll score his points but the team will suffer. Who would want to come and play for a team where one player appears to be literally running the show ? Glad Shaq will be out of there.
This is fascinating to see a team literally fall apart like the Lakers now is. I've never liked the Lakers but with Shaq being there I found myself pulling for them, mixed feelings to say the least. I am happy to see him go elsewhere. The Laker's fun gets better and better: "Sources: GP would push for contract buyout By Marc Stein ESPN.com Should the Shaquille O'Neal trade to Miami go through, as expected, you can safely expect Gary Payton to seek his own escape from the Lakers." http://sports.espn.go.com/nba/columns/story?columnist=stein_marc&id=1838214
Malone won't be back either. Its all on Kobe and he isn't locked in yet. Glad Shaq will be gone so I don't have to pull for the Lakers anymore
I was thinking and wondering if Malone might somehow end up with the heat as well. In post game interviews, press conferences, team shootout clips, it was obvious that O'Neal and Malone had become close friends. So who knows, could happen. I did not enjoy seeing Malone have to sit out his last game, in the NBA finals no less!
Yeah, but I developed a hefty distaste for Miami when he was in Orlando. Doh! Damnit Shaq, go to a team a like, already!
Kobe became the GM the day Jerry Buss started kissing his rear end. It is absolutely sickening to see that the Lakers have given up on Shaq for a spoiled brat like Kobe Bryant. I can tell you being a big Lakers fan, that this city is turned off completely on Bryant's antics and Buss and Wussy boy Cupcheck came kissing his rear. I'm so disgusted with this thing, I might throw my allegiance somewhere else next year after being a Laker fan for the last 15 years.
i think the Lakers are something like 28-8 with Shaq and no Kobe and 55-45 without shaq and with Kobe. Heard that somewhere. interesting.
