They don't, well haven't, carried a significant home field advantage in a long time. LONG time. That's one thing that throws me about this spread.

I think red hits on part of their reasoning. I believe the increase in the number of points scored at home last year comes into play as well. And, whether it holds true this season or not, I think Vegas is looking at the number of points LSU scored on the road against SEC teams last year as well.

Mississippi State will have a hard time defeating Ass to Mouth in College Station.

That said, I expect a great season with us having Louisiana State and Alabama at home. Those cowbells are deafening.

Yep, 13 straight years LSU has taken care of those Dog. That said, I pull for y'all most games.Got too many friends on that side.

BOT: Look for those lines to move greatly after the first game in Dallas. Put your money down early.......

Talent wise? Same faces and all the familiar places. VaTech and TAMU, early on. LSU later on.

LSU returns a dozen of last years top 20 tacklers.

    ParadiseiNC don't worry, be happy

....and they will actually field an offense w/an identity, and a modern gameplan (hopefully).
