mainly because he's unproven, like he wrote: "Once he gains a little experience, he has a chance to be one of the elite quarterbacks in the league"

still interesting to see who the QBs will be in the SEC for next season:

I've yet to find a 20-something athlete on Twitter who sounds like Einstein.

Just as long as he can break down a defense, it's all gravy. If you want a smart QB, you end up with a guy like Andrew Hatch - no offense to him (literally, he generated no offense) :thumb:

Mosley is too high. And I expect AJ to drop to the bottom third without a dominant RB.

i expect Eddie Lacy to be a dominant RB

for one, NFL Draft Scout has him projected as the #2 RB in his draft class (behind only Marcus Lattimore, and ahead of #4 Michael Dyer and #5 Spencer Ware). as a recruit he was on the Rivals150, the ESPN150, etc

and second, Alabama's OL is so great that every RB they have is a dominant RB (and they are returning their entire OL except for the C)

just looking at the Top 2 backs, this is how much they rushed for:
    --2011: 2,353 (Richardson 1679/Lacy 674 on 95 att -- 7.09 YPC)
    --2010: 1,575* (Ingram 875/Richardson 700 on 122 att -- 6.25 YPC) -- Lacy had 406 on 56 att (7.25 YPC)
    --2009 2,407 (Ingram 1658/Richardson 749 on 144 att -- 5.20 YPC)
    --2008 2,111 (Coffee 1383/Ingram 728 on 143 att -- 5.09 YPC)

*for 2010, they had 1,981 if you add Lacy's 406 -- Ingram missed 2 games that year due to injury, and Richardson missed 2 games that year due to injury

note in bold how Lacy's production as the #2 back is similar to that of Ingram and Richardson back when they were the #2 backs, and his YPC is much better than Ingram and Richardson back when they were the #2 backs

    Say what?

TJ Yeldon (5 * and early enrolled), Dee Hart (5*), Kenyan Drake (4*) Calloway (5*) Fowler and Eddie Lacy (671 yards on 95 carries for a 7.1 average, top in SEC and battled turf toe )

One loss on the interior offensive line with our Outland Trophy winner returning for senior season. If for some cataclysmic reason we can't run the ball, at any given point, LSU should be able to swear in a court of law, AJ can do much more than manage a game.
