Jordan Jefferson says play calls hurt LSU Tigers in BCS title game - ESPN :rolleye33: He finished the game with 53 yards passing, an interception and 15 rushing yards. Welcome to the NFL:lol: That is all I got.
"Jefferson felt LSU didn't make the right adjustments during halftime to come out for the second half. " He is right about that. But wrong what adjustment wasnt made
The nerve of that man, he is so full of himself. In his mind if the game plan would have been better, suddenly he is Vince Young and is chunking passes all over the place, making guys miss and hoisting the Crystal Football. I have news for JJ, he better be realistic about his abilities and potential if he wants to succeed with life after college, football or not. Know your limitations and play to your strengths.
The biggest problem with the game plan was that Jordan Jefferson was in the game plan. Biggest mistake of the season, was benching Jarrett Lee after leading us to an undefeated start while being one of the nation's leaders in passing efficiency. I wonder if Les will ever acknowledge his massive blunder in benching Lee in the middle of an undefeated season, and turning to the classic underachiever Jefferson. If I were coach, I would have let JJ back on the team, but he would never have seen the field in meaningful action unless Lee got injured...
WEll although I dont disagree with you the Lee should have remained the started with JJ never stepping on the field. I hardly think he will admit he made a blunder. Why Like it or not LSU DID finish the season with the best record in ALL of college football, was 13-1 and beat 3 BCS bowl winners and had the best season in the history of LSU. Was the 9th a horrible day. yes it was. but that season was hardly a blunder and I seriously doubt Les will look back and say "Man did I screw up, we blew out every team we played except for one, we went 13-1 won the SEC in a rout, and finished #2 in the nation." LSU spit the bit on the 9th and it started with Les. but to call last year a blunder. You are seriously setup for a let down going forward. We may never see a season like that again in our lifetimes.
I saw Les speed off from the athletic building in his Escalade this afternoon. Maybe he had just read the interview.
Uh, yeah...with a QB who can pass, that might've happened. When a dumbass fumbles the got dam snap and panick-bitch-pitches the ball, that tends to happen. True dat. We were also amazed he left your azz in. How you can't see this is beyond me. If you had any aptitude for learning we wouldn't be discussing what we needed to do to win...we would have. Good bye and good riddance.
He seems indifferent to the part that his own lack of execution played in the debacle. Oh well. Good bye and farewell. He's no longer our problem.
