From the West Virginia game on, I stopped having that feeling about Lee.

They unleashed him and I was no longer worried.

It's unfortunate that he threw the 2 picks vs Bama. We would have kept the 2 QB system in place and had both playing in the NC. Would have given us a better chance when we found out the read option would not work the 2nd time around.

The strange and unanswered questions about the QB decision in the NC game will sit like lumps in the throat for a long time in the minds of frustrated LSU fans, me included.

Hope Miles has a more valid reason behind it more than just stubbornness. I just hope Miles learn from this humiliating loss; if it were an issue of coaching adequacy, whether it is on him or coach Stud, hope he wises up and change philosophy and/or OC. It is still hard to fanthom how the offense performance and offense strategy/calls can be SO limited or adynamic from a #1 ranked team from the 2011 season.

    That about sums it up.

Robidoux87 You call that a double?

When Jefferson threw that underhand lob pick to Bama, in the third quarter, after having done nothing positive the whole game, he created a floor for quarterbacking. He established a new threshold for bad QB play that cannot scientifically be exceeded on the downside. Think "Absolute Zero" applied to football.

I'm calling it "The Jefferson Event Horizon," and I'm writing a PhD thesis on it.

I feel Lee puts to rest the internal turmoil that supposedly was occurring before the game, but never verified. Nice kid and lots and lots of class. But JJ found the crimson clad beasts on him before he had time to look up. Lee, even with a quick release, just doesn't have the feet to get away from the relentless pressure that evening. Bama d-backs were crowding the LOS for a reason.

We will never know, will we? Bama was far from unbeatable last year.

Yeah, those relentless beasts were the best ever - I am sure Izzy would agree.
