SAD! It could have easily been competitive. If only we had a coach with half a brain. LSU will never incur a loss this bad again. This will remain as the worst LSU loss of all time.
I agree. This is the worst LSU football loss of all time, in my humble opinion. Our program was utterly humiliated. The LSU offense looked like circus clowns out there. I'll bet that much of the TV audience were laughing at us. LSU was totally and absolutely beaten and dominated.
Easily. I don't know what happened to these players over these past two months but I've never seen a team lack so much will power to win in my life.
Who could predict such a lame showing by the O? CLM was the guy who prepped us for Oregon, UVA, Bama I, UGA, etc. So? SO? SO? WTF? From which rancid corner of Crowton-Hell did tonight's group cluster-fcuk debacle of a gameplan spawn into being?
We will forever be known as the ONLY team who couldn't score in a bowl game and the first SEC team to lose a bowl game.
I am at a loss for words for what I saw tonight. This can not be real. Were they all smoking weed? Was the game rigged from the get go? Coach Miles is not this bad of a coach. Bama is not this good. Something was wrong with this team today and it will come out later this week.
For those not old enough to remember after the LSU-Ole Miss game in 1950 where Billy Cannon made his Holloween punt return we were forced to play them in the Sugar Bowl and lost 21-0. I was 8 at the time and it is seared in my memory. This game ranks right up there.
Coach Miles is not that bad of a coach? This was his game tonight. This is the result of his handling of the LSU QB situation for the last four years. The man has utterly failed to solve this problem. I have lost confidence in his abilities to a great degree tonight.
Easy people. This isn't the worst loss of all time, I guess you would know this if you didn't become a fan in 03.
Yeah, I wasn't born then, but it was 1959. The only difference there was that LSU was already coming off an undefeated national championship season and was going for it's second in a row. 2011 is now pretty much identical to 1959. I don't know why the Sugar Bowl ended up with Ole Miss coming in to play us that year. If you can answer that, I'd be grateful. But it sounds like a similar set up in that Ole Miss was chosen to play us and we had to play it again, just like Bama in 2011. Hosed x 2 in that regard.
