Yes, but this could be to our advantage. None of our OOC opponents will be ranked, and only one is from a BCS conference. It is good that Fl and SCAR will likely be ranked when we play them.

As we know, SOS is important in the BCS.

Randy70's table, above, and the link, below, both say that Alabama will play Miss. State the week before playing LSU.

So, LSU gets a bye week to prepare, Alabama doesn't, and the game is in BR. At least that part of the schedule worked out nicely.

In this article, Saban's quote about not having a bye week before the LSU game suggests that the teams had some say so in setting the new schedules.

Any idea how much input the schools had? Or is that information disclosed only on a "need to know" basis?

If Bama had a bye before our game then they would not have had a home in October.

Isn't homecoming usually the 2nd game in November every year? I'm just saying that because the last 3 years Homecoming has been the second game in November. That will be Mississippi State.:geaux:

So...what are our chances of playing some "meaningful" night games in Tiger Stadium next season?

Ole Miss' road schedule is BRUTAL.

And it makes me smile.

We know we have at least one against Alabama.

Not much of an OOC schedule. Alot of cupcakes listed. (N. Texas, Towson, Idaho). What's that about?

The real season starts on September 22nd. Wish our out of conference games were tougher. Towson and Idaho? But, aside from USC, Bama, and Arkansas, we shouldn't have too much of a problem this year. I see 11-1 or 12-0 regular season.

With a brand-new starting QB, I think it's actually a good opportunity to get Mett up to game speed with easier teams.

Of course you know the answer, $$$$$$$$$$$$$$$.

Did you miss Washington. At least they are a quality team, even if they are a little down right now.
