you are out of your mind. it does not take a genius to watch this game and see at least 6-7 times were JJ got himslef out of trouble and made a play, due to pressure, where JL would have taken a sack in his usual fetal position, or chucked up a pass for grabs. The next two games are too fast for JL. We may still need him at some point, but give credit to Miles for knowing when to put the best QB on the field that gives us the best chance to win. By the way, I am a JL supporter and appreciate what he has accomplished in his career at LSU, but JJ is the better QB for this team right now. They ran JJ out of the play action fake offense today and he did very well. The ball has bounced in JJ's favor right now and as fans we should trust that Miles know what he is doing and enjoy it. I assume our players are.
Maybe he's not as petty and selfish as you assume he is? If he cared about playing time he would have transferred a long time ago.
I would agree the pressure JJ alluded today was going to be way too much for Lee to handle. We even had to roll JJ out several times just to avoid the pressure. That was a lot of respect by Stud, regarding the Hogs defense and the pressure they were applying.
I feel bad for Lee. This was his last time to play at Tiger Stadium and he only got a few snaps. I will be glad when we just have Mett.
2 things going on JL gave the Miles haters something to hang on now after going 12-0 going to Atlanta for the SEC ring going to New Orleans for the BcsNC ring we are going to talk about the back-up QB ??? right
I know all fans are thankful to Lee for the unbeaten streak for LSU for the major part of the season until JJ took over. He WILL get all the credits although JJ also deserves credit. Miles is right about needing JJ to carry the team through the end of the season. JL might have been able to do the same. Unfortunately he opened the doors for JJ at the Bama game. With JJ playing and throwing the ball so well, and with the added dimension of a running threat, it would be logical to use JJ over JL ( BTW I am one of Lee's fans). Unfortunately that's the way the cookie crumbles, and sometimes life is not fair. IF JJ continued to struggle in the second quarter this game, I have no doubt Miles would have yanked JJ and put in JL.
