and to be honest, I'm going to give them the sympathy for having to play after that disaster and say they deserve it more than Bama, or any of the other one loss teams.
If Ok State beats OU and wins the Big 12 championship convincingly, any chance they leap the Gumps in the BCS? Just like we leaped Georgia in the final poll in '07 after we won the SEC. I just don't think Bama deserves a shot at the NC game unless they some how back in to the SECCG and win.
Yes, as stated before, if VT and Stanford lose. If so, I think it would be most likely because the cpu's love OKST. Remember that is not a true BIG 12 championship game, they just happen to playing for it, it is a regular season game scheduled on that day. They don't have enough teams to have a true championship game. And I agree with your point! GEAUX TIGERS!
Well, except in the above playoff situations, the number 2 team doesn't get a bye week on December 3, thus the need for championship exclusion.

There is definitely creedance to that. They expect the BCS to shake out appropriately and that this kind of situation would not take place. The voters can correct it, however. It's up to them. Do the right thing on December 4th. Occupy the BCS.
"But assuming that LSU wins out, this would mean that Oklahoma State would only need to be within half a poll spot of Alabama, on average, to jump the Crimson Tide for a spot in the NCG. If they were right behind Alabama, that would mean that they would need to be one spot ahead of Alabama on just about 25% of all human ballots." In complete agreement with: Oklahoma State would have to cut the margin between a solid 2nd and solid 3rd human poll ranking by 1/2 of the way, essentially not having to overtake Alabama, but just get close (Within 19 pts for Coaches, 37 pts for Harris). Essentially a minimum of 1/4 of the voters would have to switch their vote from Alabama to Oklahoma State for 2nd place on their ballot.
OSU the week after thanksgiving in 06. Right before Florida handed them their asses. That's the only other time.
