With Iowa St big upset last night it has become apparent that a rematch will happen, unless something crazier happens. Who would you as lsu fans rather play? Bama or Oregon?

Let's just hope LSU is playing in the NCG as the #1 team.

Still a lot of football left to play. If OU wins out and gets some style points in the process, they can get back in. Don't count out a one-loss VT or Clemson either.

Assuming LSU takes care of business, I think voters would be more inclined to give Oregon the rematch, but we could be looking at 2006 all over again.

That's true. We can't afford to look way ahead and overlook anyone, as Okla St just showed us how otherwise you will be stunned. If Iowa St can somehow pull off the upset against the no.2 team in the country, so can Ole Miss in theory. History's told us that it's never been an easy victory coming off these two teams. Besides, Arkansas sure has the ability and mindset to upset us. I am sure today's game will work as an alert to our players.

Ou,vt,clemson are too far back in the BCS.Oregon is the only one that has a legitimate shot at overtaking Bama. And that is if Stanford wins out. Oregons only game that will help them from here on out is the USC game. O St and the pac 12 championship game(ucla) wont help because those teams are awful.

I think we can all say now that Okie St was overrated.

    The BCS Guru's are Nervous

No doubt, the people in charge of the BCS were hoping LSU and Oklahoma State would run the table. That would have put LSU and OkSt in the Championship game, and the BCS Guru's could say....."Look, the BCS works! The best two teams are in the Championship game!".

Let the sweating begin! It's a total clusterfreak!

Well I don't agree with this. The BCS was created for situations like this, not for when 2 teams are undefeated. And controversy and arguments are what keeps D-1 football in the forefront during the off season.

LSU is not in danger of being upset by Ole Miss... the piggies will go down as well, they will not beat us in our home. The SECCG will go our way as well. The only question now is who will LSU face in NOLA.

I agree that controversy and arguments are good for college football. It does fuel a lot of conversation year-round.

But the BCS is far from perfect, and there will be a lot more people unhappy about the BCS's results, that will be happy. This year could really be a mess by year's end.

It's a perfect system if your team is in the top 2. It sucks if they get left out.
