We have lost three of four to Arkansas and the one win was OT at home. Until we beat them 2 years in a row we have No reason to say anything. I am sick of losing to Arkansas and they have every reason to be cocky. 3 of 4
I'm still pissed at Vandy for letting them off the hook. Arky has escaped too often this year. Lucky. And I still can't believed they lost to tOSU last year in the Sugar. Come on, man. I had tOSU fan in my face telling me how they beat the SEC. Then I laughed so hard, I nearly pissed myself.
In this case, the past doesn't predict future results. Arkansas doesn't have the horses this year. They are terrible stopping the run, ranked 79th and teams are averaging 176 yards per game on the ground and 4.9 yards per carry....I'll take that all day long. Total defense ranking 55th, teams are averaging 357 yards per game. As we saw last night, defense wins championships and Arkansas doesn't have it. Probably not even a close game. They only beat Vandy by 3, Ole Miss by 5, A&M by 4, Troy by 10. The only ranked team they have beaten is South Carolina without Lattimore. I predict another loss next week to MSU and maybe even Tennessee.
Yeah, Arky has all kinds of problems. Offensive line, running game, defense. Heck, seems like the only thing that they do well is pass, although they are pretty dang good at it. Regardless, we're so multi-dimensional this year that I honestly think we'll beat them down. Most of our contributors were on the team for that loss last year and will be seeking to return the favor.
Yep, in which case Bama would probably be ranked highest, if they win out. I don't think Ark leaps them in the BCS. Truth be told, unless Ark dominates us, we may not drop below Bama if we lose that game, since we already beat them. Either way, I think Ark is still left out, if there's a 3 way tie.
