Interesting new book, Three and Out, that gives the reader an all-access pass to the behind the scenes drama when RRod was coach of Michigan.

New Book: Les Miles 'Would Never Say No To Michigan,' But Michigan Men Said No To Him | ThePostGame

It details how Michigan chop blocked RRod from the very beginning, and how the admin was always backstabbing him from the very beginning.

But, probably the most interesting part of the book for LSU fans is that it confirms that Les Miles was ready to jump to Michigan but the Michigan AD never wanted Miles.

I know RRod struggled, but I thought Michigan was stupid to fire him before he got all the players he needed for his system. I thought and still think that Michigan was going to be unstoppable in the Big Ten with RRod.

When Michigan came back to beat ND this season, Michigan did it despite of Brady Hoke.

Well if it is in a book IT MUST be true......

Back then I think there may have been some truth that Miles probably would have jumped.
This last go around. I think they did offer him and he said "no thanks"

Most of their problems are off the field. Its in the book, so it must be true....

If true (which I doubt), I bet Mr. Over My Dead Body has got to be feeling preeeeetty stupid right about now.

It's flattering to be offered a job by your alma mater. Especially if you turn both offers into a better situation where you are having unprecedented success.

But Les has always known where his bread was buttered.

Does the book mention anything about Spurrier coming?

I wouldn't hold it against Les if he ever went to Michigan. Anything in the past however is insignificant because, news flash, it didn't happen that way.

If Coach Miles then or ever left LSU to coach Michigan football, I would be neither disappointed nor angry at him for this action. That is his alma mater. He played football there. He was an assistant coach there.

I would miss him and hate to see him go, however.

Over his dead body? ...which is why they flew down here last year to meet with him. Makes sense
