Only loss to Oklahoma St... I know most people here do not care, but some might be happy to see an in-state school with mostly in-state players doing well. They are favored in the rest of their games, except maybe Arizona (which UL will probably win that one, UA is horrible). UL is averaging 28k per a game this year. While this is nothing compared to the SEC giants, it leads the Sun Belt and is in the top half of the non-AQ conferences.
I had no idea that Underwriters Laboratory had a Ragin' Cajun as their mascot. That's an odd coincidence.

It shouldn't really matter to LSU barring some weird circumstances, but remember that ULL's 6-1 record is a contributing factor to Oklahoma St.'s #1 in the BCS computer rankings.
No, they can't, because it's not their name. It'd be like LSU fans calling LSU "Louisiana". It's a pathetic attempt to overstate their importance. And oh, by the way, there is another Univ. of Louisiana. Call us whatever the f*ck you want to, bud. We're not the ones with fanbase pretending to be something that we're not. We also don't use the Chili's logo to represent our school.
Actually, there are two other Universities of Louisiana or soon will be. Anyway, this is College Sports forum and that's why I posted this. Never really considered the Oklahoma BCS rankings being effected by UL's record. Guess that is another reason for LSU fans to root against UL.
Why the heck would you root against ULL, you should want in state teams to do well. Also I don't know why we as fans get so upset with ULL's fans calling themselves UL, nobody other than them thinks of that school as the flagship school of Louisiana. Stupid on both parts in my opinion. Also I believe LSU isn't the full name of the University. So as a ULL student I could complain about that, but I don't, because it's pointless...I am a fan of both schools.
