    I agree; the team's ability to continually focus and play with intensity showed.
    Also, I am impressed with the players' hunger for improvement and perfection, and not sit on their laurels. The coaches are certainly helping them with it.

    This team has a special feel to it, and they are worthy as contenders for the NC game. Let's hope everything click together, coaches and players on Nov 5th:tigereye:

    But this isn't the first "golden choice" that the Mad Hater has made. In every BIG game vs BIG oppossition that Miles has had more than 2 weeks to prepare for, he's come out looking like a genius!!

    vs GT's triple option attack in the Chick-fil-A-Bowl, by having the defense practice vs the offense WITHOUT using a ball! (made the defenders responsible for individual assignments/specific players)

    vs Ohio St in the BCS title game on both sides of the ball

    vs ND in the Sugar Bowl on both sides of the ball

    vs Miami in the Chick-Fil-A-Bowl on both sides of the ball

    vs aTm's rejuvenated "wrecking crew" defense in the Cotton Bowl in which our struggling offense ripped apart the Aggie defense

    vs Oregon's high-tempo speed offense by making the defense practice in rapid-fire

    The LONE exception to his outstanding preparation of the team in big games vs big opponents was the Cap One loss to PSU when the field was like a swamp where no amount of preparation was going to compensate for that pathetic field condition. I'm convienced that whichever team won that game was going to be the team that was just lucky enough to not slip...and whichever team lost, would be just unlucky.

    Food for thought.

    With a very strong possibility the Tennessee QB has a very bad game on Saturday, LSU as a team may have the #1 ranked QB rating in the SEC.

    Another great Offensive Coaching Stat:

    Avg. Yds. Per Game:
    Running = 183
    Passing = 183

    I am just so happy not to see the Meerkat(stop and look at sidelines like lost souls) Offense of years past!!!!!!!:thumb:-------- Guess we could watch Maryland to see it again!:rofl:

    Sure will be interesting to see how that works out for them. I have been very pleased with our StudKrag Offense!!!! Back to some smash mouth in your face run game and deep ball threats which is what WINS and is LSU football!!:tigereye:

    and on the flipside of that: Everyone is afraid to punt to us, which generally leaves us with good field position due to shorter kicks.

    Haha...you must not have seen them this season. The mighty Wizard that is Gary Crowton has worked WONDERS. The groomer of QBs that he is, Danny O'Brien, 22 TDs and 2400+ yds last season for Maryland, has really taken off this year. I mean, taken off the field, replaced after starting the season with more INTs than TDs. You wanna see something funny? Go to one of their forums. They're scratching their heads wondering why O'Brien couldn't grasp Crowton's offense. They're positive Crowton is gonna work wonders, but clearly O'Brien can't cut it.

    Sound familiar??
