Who knows. But T-Bob going down on offense was not fake and they booed him. It didn't make any sense at all for them to boo him and they still did. But we should be careful in what we say because I can't for certain that our fans wouldn't do the same thing in some of those situations.

if i were a betting woman, i would put money that all those injuries were not fakes. point being, injuries do happen, and fans (or hothead coaches) shouldnt assume that every injury is a fake just to ruin their hurry up offense. fans from oregon and wvu seem to think there is no legitimate way to prepare for, or defend against, it. but there is, and lsu proved that against oregon. and in a way that other coaches will now probably use to prepare for it.

this no-huddle causes exhaustion which wears down 300 lb linemen eventually.

in fact, temporary paralysis is considered an injury even if its for a mere 30 seconds.

its a product of the very thing those dopes are trying to achieve. yet they are upset when it happens.

    weird.

Speaking of fakes...How about Matt Straub's attempt to elicit a helmet to helmet on Texas' last play. His head wasn't touched.

I agree with this. And I know it's been pointed out, but LSU does it too. We did it on our last drive of the first half against UO, and it worked very well. We did it against WVU, too.

I don't 'like' the style of teams that run it every play, but I do like the fact that we mix it in occasionally. Teams aren't expecting us to do it. It catches them by surprise when we do, and with Lee (or probably Mett as well), LSU can run it just fine for a random series here and there.

The teams that do run it exclusively do it for a reason. Because they have to. It's the only chance they have to be very successful...and until they meet a team with extreme depth like LSU, they get away with it.

The Saints, the Colts, they've been doing it for years. Not exclusively, but randomly...and effectively.

Well said. I still think it's kind of cheap to run it the whole game. Glad the Tigers have been able to stop it successfully.
