Hmmmmmmm. And last I checked UL Monroe wasn't even an SEC school, right? Where TCU Tiger defending this???? ATTENTION ALL BOISE ST. AND TCU FANS: They cannot play week in and week out against top 25 teams. They have never even tried. So, please for the love of God stop defending this apples v oranges comparison and just accept this simple fact: When those 2 teams play ANYONE IN THE NATION with 1-3 months of preparation time they probably will beat them (like Wisconsin last year and Georgia this year). But to play against teams that have top 10 recruiting classes year after year, week after week, they would NEVER go undefeated and will probably lose 2-3 games each and every year. JUST DEAL WITH IT. Man I am so tired of defending this. (PS - I am so pissed that GA lost to Boise because now we have to hear this crap all year until they play a ranked team on the road again).
Perhaps TCU after going 25-1 over 2 seasons had a few graduations to deal with. NO ONE out side of the SEC and VERY FEW inside the SEC prepare for Top 25 schools every week. If that was true, what do you call games against NW La???? North Texas, Utah State etc etc. BTW, what was the final score of the TCU game...........I left at halftime.
You have ANY CLUE why Portland State is on the schedule??? I mean REALLY??? Ask Texas Tech why they CANCELED a game AT TCU for the second time with only a few months to go. Ask Oklahoma why they moved a game at TCU to next year????
The problem is TCU plays teams like NW St., Utah St., Portland State EVERY WEEK. EVERY YEAR. I love what Patterson has done there. Seriously. BUT until they play alot of TOP 25 Teams week in and week out they cannot be seriously considered to play for the BCS national title game. It's just not a fair comparison. Join a REAL football conference and play alot of comparable competition each week (and a Conference Championship) and then HELL YEAH they should be in the Title Game. Not until then. Nuffield said.
Why dont you tell me about all the times the SEC, Pac 12 Big 12 or ANY OTHER BCS conference asked them to join before the Big East did. Why don't you tell TCU "how to join" a BCS conference. You give C students everywhere a bad name. I guess you have just "forgot" who they played the first week and the fact that team is still ranked.
