of course. it's highly unlikely though. Miss St averaged over 300 on the ground and over 500 yards total. Last night at HOME they managed 190. 190. 190. 190. 50 on the ground. good luck. Geno and Tavon are ballers though. I agree on that.

thanks everyone for the welcome. I think their is something oddly compelling about how our fanbases get along. When we played Georgia, MSU and Auburn it was fun and exciting, but their is something different about you LSU guys that makes it more fun to talk and engage with you guys. Hope you feel the same way.
ASD: Watching MSU's option game I noticed LSU probably has the perfect defense to defend against that type of game. Obviously you guys shut down Oregon too which, at least to me is way more impressive, but they are run option focused for the most part as well. I am hoping Dana Holgorsen's scheme with quick passes and Geno's composure and decision making is enough to move the ball at least a little bit more than those guys did. It will be interesting none-the-less to see how it turns out. Most of all I just want a great competetive game and for you guys to come away impressed with our program and fanbase.

Make no mistake, this will be another TOUGH game. Luckily, we've already faced 2 explosive offenses that run similar offenses to WV. However, I think WV passes more than Oregon and Moo U. Look for a similar game plan to what you saw last night. We'll obviously want to run the ball, control the clock, and keep WV's O off the field.

I have been impressed with WVU in the BCS era, Especially defense. You guys had a very special unit on defense last year, and always recruit great speed.

Honestly, you have the 109th rushing offense in the country, you are probably in for a 30 or 40 yard night, assuming LSU doesn’t give up a big play.

You will need to beat us through the air, and will be the 1st school to come in with that scheme. State & Oregon wanted to run, but then realized they had to pass. Both had some success but LSU defense will adjust VERY quickly and you will see a lot of the Mustang Package.

Having said that, I don’t see Geno & WVU hanging more than 2 TD’s through the air, so I am calling for WVU to score less than 20 on us. You haven’t faced a physical team like LSU yet, you have only faced pass first team and those were Marshall & Norfolk. You will be playing Gary Crowton and his pass first offense tomorrow, you are in for a ton of WR screens, bubble screens, and spread attack.

When you face LSU next week, you will just be getting your first look at a heavy weight run first smash mouth team.

But we will get into all that next week.
