I doubt we'll jump back over y'all after next week. Beating Penn St will not be viewed as prestigious as beating a #3 ranked Oregon no matter how bad we beat them (if we beat them at all).

Right now it's all irrelevant because we play each other head to head.

If you guys look good and Jarrett Lee struggles, I think you jump us. However, it makes no difference. I just hope we're both undefeated on November 6th.

With Carter and Hanks back, you guys are going to be fine. We will get no love unless we hang 60 in a shutout against NWST. Bama will be #2 again next week.

If Bama rolled, see Oklahoma v. Tulsa, I doubt LSU passes Bama, but since the QBs struggled and Richardson struggled to accumulate yardage LSU jumped Bama.

The point being I don't think the jump was solely based on LSU's dominant performance.

As being discussed on Tidefans (right now) and y'all already have stated it as well. It won't matter because we play head to head in November. But since the rankings are out and we do look at them I think we're right where we deserve to be. We're breaking in a new qb, threw four picks between the two of them and our offensive line was "hot" and "cold" all game. My rankings would be 1. LSU 2. Oklahoma 3. Bama then everyone else.

Doesn't matter really. We control our own destiny anyway. With 'Bama, ranked #2 (or #3), beat them, as well as all the games in front of us, and we're back in NOLA.

One game at a time though! Just win the game in front of you.:geaux:
