I would like to talk about a football game on a football game thread !

We get to play football in the great state of Texas for our opening game. We get to play the team that came in 2nd in the big dance last year in our opening game. We are ranked in the Top 5 in all polls and the Ducks are ranked in the Top 5 in all polls.

What a blessed fan base we are. We have a Senior QB ready to go with one of the highest rated recruits in the country on the bench at QB waiting for his chance.

We have 3 of the best RBs in the SEC waiting to go

We have a Senior ladden OL ready to go

We have one of the very best but most unknown WRs in RR ready to go

We have one of the best freshman classes in the history of LSU ready to go

We might have the quickest and one of the deepest DLs in LSU history ready to go

We do have the deepest and most talented DB group that in 40 years of watching the Tigers that I have seen - ready to go


I am not sure what the Ducks will bring on Game Day but I know my Tigers are loaded and ready.

Bama is the team to beat and LSU has to many problems

I can buy into the fact losing your starting QB 1 week before opener is a issue

but - they don't know what all the homers know - we are loaded

Yeah I saw it yesterday. ESPN hates LSU so this really doesn't surprise me.

Even if he is still rehabilitating his cognizant skills, there is some ESPN love. Herbie is going with the Crimson Tide, but then his credibility suffered with the big game loss to the duckettes.

Hard for me to see Oregon whipping LSU and Bama this year with that team. But my belief system has Kelly equaling Leach, with better financing.

 

I have no problem with folks picking Bama or even the Ducks

That is what this is all about this time of the year and it was my guys getting into a bar fight at 2am and my guys brought all this on our head but now it is time for football and putting it on the field.

My problem with Game Day is they never talk up LSU like Bama gets talked up

I find it hard to believe Bama will be a better team than last year with what they lost
