Uh oh, just asked PP7 where he thinks Miles will be next year.

He said wasn't his job to speculate basically, but he hopes he would be back at LSU.

Miles was just talking about the defense like he was going to be here next year, he really didn't say anything particular that makes me think that, just the way he was speaking about the D, makes me think he is coming back. But once again, you never know.

 

Finally, someone asked PP where he thought Miles should coach next season. He said (paraphrased) he hopes to see him in purple and gold, because he's got another good Peterson coming his way. Miles responded subtly, "That's correct".

 

Ha, thought that was funny, Peterson also said he wants his kids to go to LSU.

So Peterson says bye and alludes that Miles is staying….that about all?

 

Didn't sound like he alluded to anything. He said he wasn't in a position to know, and said he hopes that he stays for the rest of his coaching career.

To paraphrase: No contact with Michigan yet, but representatives have had "distant" contact. Told they will speak in the future. Miles went on to say that he and his family are extremely happy in Baton Rouge.

 

That was my Yogi Berra moment.
