He was fairly well covered with safety help. The safety(Hatcher) didn't have a clue and blew another one. The defense was there, the play wasn't made.

 

With good reason, that was a sloppy half of football. LSU handed Arky a lot of chances to take the lead and they did.

The fact is though they needed to have players camping out around the LSU 20 or wherever, but very deep. So its on the coaches. At the end of the half or game you drop everyone back, you shouldnt be in a regular formation.

 

C'mon guys. Dominate the 2nd half. No more big pass plays for Mallett -- knock him into next week.

The O has shown it can move the ball. Let's score to open the half and then buckle down on D.

That TD is all on coaching. Sure it was pathetic tackling by LSU but still. Its the scheme. Hatcher should sit the second half though.
