That happened in an NFL game a few years ago. Pretty sure it was New England and Vinatieri that ran it in.

there is no defensive 2 pt conv in the nfl

as soon as the ball changes hands, the play is blown dead

does the sec really think that a returned PAT is worth 6 pts?

Yes, everyone associated with Tennessee left the field. Probably didn't think that they could have tied the score with a returned PAT for 2 pts.

There was ZERO chance. LSU would not have even attempted an XP. They would have lined up in the victory formation and kneeled it.

Well people on here are saying we were indeed "trying" to line up for an XP?

I can't remember from the telecast other than the announcer alluding to it, does anybody have visual evidence we sent the kicker onto the field for an XP?

"Looked like a good time to run the Fumbleruski to me" Gary Crowton on the play he intended to run after Ridleys go ahead TD.

    this

all he had to do was keep his team on the field and the officials would have had us run the play

There's zero chance you or I would have tried to kick an extra point but we're not the coach. Someone else is.
