Every WVU fan I met at the game and after the game were perfect fans. As a matter of fact I met more A-hole LSu fans then WVu fans last night. But of course LSU fans outnumbered the WVU fans 50-1. And of course I understand that in every fan base there's going to be some A-holes.
Sour grapes, every fan base has them. All we heard after Auburn 2008 was how horrible it was for their fans, etc. It got the point where you would read their boards and they'd have wild stories and you'd ask "Wait this happened to you?" and you'd get "Well I didn't go, but a friend of my brothers-bosse's-fiancee's-dry cleaner was there and he said it did" Or something like that. I went down to AU last year for the game, everyone was really nice but if I wanted to be bitter and point out all the a-hole behavior it'd be easy too do. Trust me I'm sure the majority of our fans had a great time, just like next year the majority of your fans will have a great time but a few will whine.
Apparently they were not aware that the officiating crew was from the Big East Conference. Next year we take an SEC crew to Morgantown with us.
Hey i feel this. 2 years ago they beat us in the Car Care Bowl and some of them were starting fights. They won!!!!!!! Imagine if they lost.......
I don't know about a swap rat, but a swamp rat ran in front of my car on O'Neal when I was going out Friday night. Oh, and Kyle, the WVU fan who was next to me on the second to last row of Tiger Stadium, was really cool. My daughter loved talking smack with him.
