Poor recruiting for the last two years (plus only modest success this past year). A pretty bad season so far, even for a rebuilding year. An AD with a "basketball school" background who is probably just very uncomfortable sucking at men's hoops. And it's looking doubtful the Tiger men's basketball team will win very many conference games this year, if any. Why isn't there more talk of firing Trent Johnson? If Calipari can turn Kentucky from rags to riches in one recruiting class, surely we should expect Johnson to be able to at least field a middle-of-the-conference team in the already mediocre SEC?
i think you're joking however, i'm drunk....so, if you're not joking. wait until next years class comes in. i hope you're joking. i'm drunk. please be joking.
Maybe because Coach Johnson can complete a coherent sentence and if he had top recruits on his team, he would play them, regardless of age. Also, he didn't walk into a 5 star program like Les Miles did. Understand?
and there you have it. a sarcastic fire the basketball coach thread turns into a bash miles thread. apparently all roads lead back to that.
Looks like you are right, Okie. There appears to be only one degree of separation for a lot of our forum members between Les Miles and anything else that they don't like. You could mention the assassination of Archduke Franz Ferdinand of Austria, and someone would blame it on Les Miles. (Poor coaching of Ferdinand's five-star bodyguards or something). Some of the folks on this board remind me of a little Chihuahua - they grab an idea by the cuff of the pants and just worry the hell out of it, and with the same result - they just continue to pizz you off! :geaux:
This season so far, the average Div 1 team has a 34.1% percentage for 3-point shots. At the same time, LSU is last in the SEC with a 21.6% percentage for 3-point shots. This is all Gary Crowton's fault of course...
