I'm not definate, but that may be one of those shoulders slings that keeps you from raising your arm past a certain height... did he have a shoulder injury?
Well, he hasn't received an opportunity to become a playmaker. A gimmick is using a wr at qb not running a reverse to a wr.
He has a deep bruise in his bicep area, suffered during the fall camp. I'll say this again, it's too early to predict how his career will end up. All I know is his potential is very high. The few plays he's been involved in anyone can see this kid can be special. He turned a simple 15 yard hitch into a 67 yard TD run where the opposing DB's had huge angles. Whatever problem he's now having in practice doesn't mean it will continue his whole career or even after mid-season. The coaches has a kid who's 6'3" 200lbs & runs a 4.28 forty, if he doesn't develop they have to shoulder some of the blame. Heck, Doucet is nowhere near what he should be considering every expert opinion. I'm not knocking Doucet, he's a great talent, but I wonder about the WR coach & Jimbo.
I don't know why you seem to be taking this so personal. I don't think anyone is trying to say that Xavier isn't going to be a special player. We are commenting on what he is doing now, and the reason we're upset about his dropped catches/not-yet-a-star performances is because we KNOW how much potential he has.
