Now that I have a captive audience, I'd like to make one thing very
clear. I am *not* a USC hater.
Seriously.
The USC crew is trying to take the easy way out by condemning me as
some sort of crazed fan on a smear campaign. That's apparently easier for
them than coming to terms with reality. There are numerous very
long-winded debates in our forums regarding the 2003 season. I prefer the
simple analysis. It's all that is needed really. Black and white.
USC did not compete in the 2003 National Championship game.
The following quotes are from the "Official Site of University of
Southern California Athletics":
December 2003 (Pre-brainwash)
"The Trojans (11-1, 7-1 Pac-10) find out Sunday whether they will
travel to New Orleans to play for the national title in the Sugar Bowl, or
stay home and play in the Rose Bowl."

December 2005 (Post-brainwash)
"The Rose has always been the objective for USC, trying for its third
straight national title."

There you have it.
If you haven't been by the site lately, we've made several
improvements. There's now a 'funds raised' thermometer on the homepage, allowing
visitors to monitor our progress at a glance. We've posted a
onepeat.com flyer to help promote the grassroots marketing. We've added a new
t-shirt design -- and others will be in the store soon. Also, we've
completely revamped our forums. We're already up to 68 registered
users...so swing by for some quasi-intelligent debate!
Finally, I'd like to thank each one of you for making this project the
success it has already been. If you're ever in Tigerland on GAMEDAY,
stop by the onepeat tailgate! Don't worry...you'll find us.
Funds raised as of 11:59pm 1/17/06: $5922.88 + $2000 in pledges
