What Tolliver said was that Florida and Bama were "really standing out". He never said that they lead.

That is correct. Tolliver is being misquoted. He never has said publicly who is leading for him, but those on the inside say he's All-LSU. Grades are a big issue though.

It is being reported by dandydon that Benton did in fact pass the ACT but just feel short with his core grades. He will go off the Hargrave Military Prep Academy in VA and try again next year. I wonder if Keiland helped him out with choosing that school.

Schools like this must be a thriving business. Hope he remains committed to LSU when he is done.

Hargrave emphasizes sticking with your original school. Generally, they stay with their first choice.

Depending on how close Benton was, he could be an early enroller next year.

In other WR recruiting news (mostly from other threads), J. Taylor isn't supposed to qualify, and Peterson has changed his commitment to "soft". It appears the attention he's getting from Florida etc is going to his head. We'll have to see what happens with that. It also looks like we've backed of Jarboe.

Rivals is reporting that Tim Molton has committed to us as of today. He stands at 6-foot-3, 185-pounds and runs a 4.4 in the 40-yard dash.

Molton's commitment fascinates me. If we take Peterson (I know he may change his mind), Taylor (grade issues, reportedly), Tolliver, Brown, Molton, Benton, and Julio Jones, that's 7 wideouts in this class. Of course, a number of those have grade issues and we're far from definite to get Jones, but still. That's a LOT of receivers we're looking at signing.

Maybe we're switching to a 5 wideout playbook nothing less
