Marlon Brown cuts one school, down to five

Under Armour All-American wide receiver Marlon Brown has eliminated USC from consideration, because of its distance from home, and is only looking at five schools.
He told ESPN affiliate Bucknuts.com, "It's down to five now. It's Ohio State, Tennessee, Georgia, LSU and Florida."

Looks like Tennessee is slowly leaving the picture for Brown's services.

Probably down to LSU, Florida and Georgia.

My guess is Florida.

Apparently LSU has the inside track with Marlon via Mike Farrell.Maybe Trent Johnson is helping out now?

That is very possible.

I just don't know if we are as interested in him enough to offer. Maybe he could be our backup plan to Debose.

He has eliminated LSU because we do not call him anymore.

I am surprised we were in his top 5 for so long.

Notice the top five is now down to four. That cut came when the 6-foot-5, 205-pound receiver from Harding Academy eliminated LSU last week.
“To be honest about LSU, they did not show enough interest in me so I just dropped them,” the News Sentinel’s top rated prospect in the state said.
That’s when Ole Miss entered the conversation, albeit quietly.
“I had an extra visit so I just used the one from there (Baton Rouge) to Ole Miss,” said Brown, who will visit Oxford this weekend.
