anyone do it yet? I'm at 91 percent, had a friend say it was pretty sweet and I hate windows 8, I want my start button back and I want the app page gone.

I use windows for one specialized program and it runs in a window on my Mac. I never switch to a new version for a year or more because in decades of doing this, they have never once had a rock-solid system at launch. When they hammer out several decimal revisions and are getting good reviews, I upgrade. This allowed me to completely skip Windows 8. Seven continues to run the one program just fine until Ten pans out . . . or doesn't.

It has always amused me that to shut down Windows you hit START.

I just want it while it's free.

I will but you can get the start button in 8 but 8 rally sucks balls.

7 is much better. Which ain't saying much.

Windows should give you a notice, look for the windows icon on your taskbar

Well after a 10 hour upgrade, it's running and guess what, no more app page and I get the start button back. Well the app page has shrunk and is now part of the window that pops up when you hit the start button but that's way better than 8. Plus it has Cortana, Windows' Siri. That's what I got so far.

yeah, I'm willing to jump in early but not "week of launch" early. I'm looking to wait another 30-60 days although I may not be able to hold out on my laptop with windows 8. That is a dogshit OS
