How can a team that never really lost the first time want revenge?

Bama logic. Don't question it...just move on...

    Contained Chaos Don't we all?

Lol @ "restoring order". If bama wins, the BCS will be more controversial and chaotic than ever. If LSU wins, then the only undefeated team in the country will be NC. That's about as orderly as it gets. Idiot.

Knowing Saban I am sure he is ecstatic his players are making all these statements.
he is not one to enjoy bravado and smack talk.

Bama players and fans have been discrediting our win since that FG went through the uprights. They still believe that they are the best team in the country. It felt good to rub it in their faces. You should've read all the comments from Bama fans on Bleacher Report before game about how it would 34-7 and saying that LSU wouldn't even cross the 50. The Bama players have this entitlement about themselves. Same with their fans. They boast about how they outplayed us but last time I checked, out gaining a team by 50 yards and having possession for 12 more seconds isn't really outplaying a team. Of course they don't bring up the negative yardage caused by our defense when they were in our 30 yard and driving. Can't wait for this game. Hopefully we shut those gumps up.

these things do matter and affect motivation. 'twas not a smart thing to say. you can bet les had a discussion addressing it directly. the last thing you want is your team thinking the opponent doesnt deserve to be there.

    thats a mindset for failure.

    willard should have known better.

Basically giving an excuse as to why you lost before you even played...

But like Skip Bayless said today on First Take, I think Coach Miles turns it into something positive in that it's so hard to beat a great team twice. Miles > Saban as a motivator.

I doubt it. This isn't the first time it's happened and I don't think Les really gives a **** otherwise it would have been nipped in the bud a long time ago.

I think Les values his players' swag more than he's worried about the other teams' players getting BB material.
