1. Geez, let 'em play the game and the season shake out before you crown this game: "You want to crown 'em ? Then f'ng crown 'em "
  2. ESPN = MTV almost exactly. used to be sports/music and now they are talking heads/game shows/reality tv. much like the 24 hour news network there is very little actual journalism going on, just opinions to create conflict so they can cover the conflict and give more opinions to create more...ect..

but my latest boiling point was Herby yelling at the voters to put UL at #3 all week after the WVU game.
  3. These talkin heads have gotten such an ego that they really do believe that what they say matters and has an effect on the voters.

    Sadly, it does.
  4. I haven't studied it, but I wonder how what the percentage or programming is for talk shows, as compared to showing sports. I used to like to watch Sports Center, but now you can get information anytime of day from their other programs, just like the news channels.
  5. I found the countdown timer to "Judgement Day' Gameday coverage sitting at the bottom of the WVU game last night really over the top. They clearly have too much impact over the popularity contest of who is the best teams in the nation.
  6. Just goes to show ya, the only people who can talk sports intelligently 24/7 is us.
