Let's go over the reasons why Alabama will beat LSU, shall we?
First of all, I know you LSU fans will say that Bama has no offense and they can't score points. Bama struggled to score on OM, true. We moved the ball though, turnovers and penalties killed drives. UT has a great defense and we struggled there too. Brodie, honestly, had a bad game throwing the ball. He missed 3 easy TD's to wide open receivers. Thankfully, he was able to finally hit the long ball at the end of the game to seal the deal. Anyways, that's 2 ball games and now Bama has had UTST and still has MSU to get the offense back on track. LSU's defense isn't UT's though. LSU gave up about 1,000 yards to ASU, almost 500 to AU, and let UT score 30 points in one half and overtime. UT's offense is pitiful. LSU's secondary is weak and the d-line is overrated, they were exposed by AU..Irons had over 200 yards rushing. Bama will be able to score on LSU because we have Darby who is good enough to get solid yardage and keep LSU's defense guessing. When they guess wrong Brodie, the 5th year Unitas finalist QB, will burn your sorry secondary with passes to DJ Hall and company. Brodie is an intelligent QB who hasn't thrown an INT in 185 attempts, Darby is a great back who has fumbled the ball 1 time in his entire career so don't look for too many turnovers. On the other hand, Bama's defense is the best in the conference if not the best in the nation. LSU's offense is decent but not great. Russell is not an intelligent QB. When in trouble he just hurls the ball into the air (Vandy and UF). He will be effected greatly by the Bama crowd noise...turnovers and penalties will occur. Addai is a good back but Bama has already faced some good backs and allows under 100 yards rushing per game. Your receivers are good, but our secondary is better. Field goal kickers are about even, your's missed a couple against AU and our's has missed a few this year though they have both been good in the clutch. Our punter isn't very good but we will be kicking away from Green anyways, count on that. We have a new punt returner, Simeon Castille. Who knows how effective he will be, we'll just have to wait and see. I think these are the main reasons Bama will win this game...Brodie is an experienced, smart QB who has proven that he can lead the team to victory in the clutch. Russell isn't very intelligent when under pressure, your team commits a lot of turnovers and penalties. Bama does a great job of eliminating turnovers. The game is in T-Town, crowd will be ready, crowd noise continues LSU's turnover and penalty problems, Bama's D continues shutting opponents down (19 points in last 4 games), Bama gets it done. Mark it down.
