With SC beating the Dawgs (Florida probably will too) which means SC or Fla will probably win the east. Both come to BR. Which means we (after winning the west) will have to play a team in the SECCG that we have already played and probably beaten. Who do you want or think will be the east representative to the SECCG and why? I'm thinking it will be Florida and they would be tough to beat twice in one year.:geauxtige

Florida might be tough to beat twice in the same year, but with this team, this coaching staff and no injuries... it really shouldn't be impossible for us.

I really don't care who way face as long as we get USC in the dome. What pisses me off is I don't think USC will make it. I think they might lose 2...

I'd say Florida most likely. Not to worry though, LSU did the same thing against GA in the '03-'04 season.

i think i'm going to agree with stew mandel's preseason prediction that Florida is not going to win the East. They will lose to us and at least one more, maybe South Carolina. I think my vote for SECCG is LSU vs. South Carolina. I think Spurrier is going to surprise us this year.

As far as National Championship, i would love LSU/USC, but like KajunKenny, I too am afraid they may not make it. It may be LSU/OU or LSU/anyone in the AP Top 15 right now. It's so up in the air, all of the AP Top 15 are 2-0 (except USC who had a bye week).

My guess, Fla wins the east. We gotta play them twice, provided we take care of our business, one game at at time.

its too early right now, i still think uga looked like the better team and could possibly beat florida. i think tenn. could also possible beat florida. its too hard to tell how florida's d will look against a good offense. uga and sc played each other and both looked like they had talent, tenn. showed a little upside on offense when they played cal and it would have been a close game if not for speial teams and a few big plays the defense gave up. right now its anyone's guess who will win the east, until florida plays someone good we won't know how their ranking right now really reflects their team. ho knows, kentucky might shock the world, right now theres nothing for certain in the east.

Tennessee and Florida is going to be a shoot out......no defenses. After South Carolina's pathetic opener, I'd doubted them but after last night, I'm going to stay with them as my dark horse.

Either way, though beating a team twice is hard, at least we get them in TS and Atlanta and don't have to go to their stadium.......the table is really set, all we have to do is show up and play with the same intensity as we did last night.

i think sc is possibly the best pick because uga showed a pretty good defense against ok st. and sc so i think uga could beat florida and i agree tenn. and florida will be a shoot out. sc could lose to florida and still win the east because the other teams could trade beating each other. strangest thing is we're talking about the sec and the east seems to be lacking in defense.

We've still got a lot of work to do to win the west.

    But we shure looked gooood.

I think Florida will be there from the east.

I think our SEC Champ game helps us get stronger for the NC game. It helped us in 2003 and it definitely helped Florida last year.
