1. Flynn- His first few games were rocky but not bad. Damn did he have a good game against the Canes! Looks like he can run and pass. He only had a few weeks’ w/the starters and look what he did against the mighty D of the hurricanes.

Russell- We know what he can do. We know he can't run away from grandma but he can pass w/the best of them.

RP- Supposedly this guy has it all but we don't know. RP seems to be stronger and faster then Flynn. He has a year on the sidelines under his belt. I think he deserves a chance to compete for a starting position next spring.

So purportedly we could have three guys capable of starting considering RP lives up to the hype. Who do you want to see lead the team in the season opener next year?

I would like to see Flynn. I think he waited patently on the sidelines for his chance. He took full advantage and shined big time. I guess Russell beat him out last year b/c he had split time in the prior season under CNS giving him the advantage. I think in order to win in CFB you need a QB that can run and pass. Russell looks like he is pulling a car when he tries to run. As far as RP, he is at a disadvantage b/c the other two guys have more game time experience. I doubt that CLM is that big of a gambler to pull Russ or Flynn for his baby RP.
  2. I'm just glad I am not the coach that has to choose just one of them! QB is one of the positions that we just about can't lose at.
  3. Russell is the QB. End of story.
  4. I hope you are wrong.
  5. Yeah. We can do a lot better than 11-2.:dis:
  6. I want the player the coaching staff thinks will be best to lead the team.
  7. I would like to see an open competition. Flynn played at least as well as Russell this season and the competition was down to the wire in fall camp. Flynn deserves an equal chance. RP would be starting next season at Texas or Ms St. He chose us. We owe him the opportunity to compete on a level playing field. May the best man win. I would not be opposed to all three playing a quarter and a third in the first game and then making a decision. Russell is a winner with a strong arm, but he throws the ball too hard, which makes his passes difficult to catch even though they are accurate. Also, Russell can't run, which the other two can. I like Russell, but I would prefer Flynn based on what I saw this season. Not just the Miami game, remember Flynn threw a perfect game in mop-up duty too.
  8. He's not. So long as Russell stays healthy, I don't see him getting bumped from starter position.
  9. A lot better. The absolute best we could have done was win two more games. We finished 9-2 in Saban's last year. Some people can never be satisfied.
  10. WE WANT EAZY!
