Red beans and rice. Began with a G&T, will have wine with the meal. Hopefully the Astros will cap off the evening with a win.

Not my favorite cut of beef, but it came out pretty well I'd say, as did my wife. I started with a Big, thick T-bone steak, dizzled with olive oil, fresh garlic, Italian herbs, fresh lemon and some homemade creole seasoning. Grilled on the pit at about 550F, until rare. While cooking I made a sauce, made of butter, olive oil, roasted garlic and balsamic vinegar. Then I poured the sauce over the steak in a ceramic pan and broiled at 500 for about 4 minutes until med-rare/medium.

For the first side, my wife made a delicious fruit salad out of fresh bananas, strawberries, grapes, and apples and garnished with some lime and orange slices. The second side was a traditional garlic french bread. Needless to say it was awesome, by far the best steak I've ever made and I consider steaks to be my speciality. The best part is that the whole meal only cost about 15 bucks and was as good or better than anything you can find in town.

I'd love to be as wealthy as you are.

Getting married is expensive, we didn't have to pay for the wedding but to entertain and thank our attendants we had to pay up. The lesson that my parents have tried to instill in me is clear. You don't get rich by spending your money.:hihi:

That's a good one. Remind them of that one about not spending all your inheritence.

Marriage is expensive, I've often said it was legalized prostitution. :hihi:

Oh, and no wealth here, but if your're going to spend it on her anyway, don't call attn. to it.......lil tip.
