Having my best friend and her family over for dinner. Baked catfish, shrimp broiled in a rosemary/lemon/butter sauce, and baked potatoes. I even cooked bacon to make real bacon bits for those.

    Just a little pre-Easter celebration.

i keep home made bacon bits out of real bacon in the freezer. grab a handful out of the ziplock bag, throw em in the microwave for a few seconds, and bacon bits for salad or baked potatoes!

Grilled seasoned hamburger, 6 slices of grilled patstromi on top of that, provolone cheese on top of that, sauerkraut on top of that with mustard on the bun. Quite yummy. Son wants to add bacon to the mix next time.

was the aspargus just for garnish, or did you add enough to add flavor?

last night for dinner i had a pulled pork sandwich with mac and cheese and a pitcher of beer at a BBQ place. then i immediately went to a mexican place and got chicken fajitas with more beer. i had two full meals in a row. what a glutton i am.

Oh, we cooked a couple bundles and I ate one of them myself. We minced garlic, drizzled them in olive oil then ground pepper over them before setting them in the oven on Broil. My favorite asparagus dish is to brush them with oil, grind pepper and salt over them and put them on the grill.
