Don't know what's for dinner tonight, but since I'm taking the day off, my full-blooded Italian wife making spaghetti and meatballs for lunch. The sauce is home-made from her mother's recipe. Lunchtime can't get here fast enough.

Went to giant HEB and bought 4 redfish fillets and 2 lb. of shrimp. Don't ask how much it cost... Then made redfish and shrimp courtboullion, mmmm mmmmm...

6 fresh tomatoes, 2 onions. My daughter gave me a New Orleans restaurant book she found cheap, it was written in 1967. Great history on the dozen best known restaurant names in NO, plus lots of their famous old recipes. I'll work through some of that stuff.

That sounds GREAT! You have an eclectic palate (and that's a good thing!).

From yesterdays posts, we're all eating pretty good!
