1. Sent my wife and 10yr old daughter to New York this week so Gabrielle could go with her old dance team to get a lesson from the Rockettes.

So I decided to make one of my 4yr old daughter's favorites because she misses them. Slow cooked some baby backs for 6 hours. I put them on the table and went to go clean up the messes and 3/4 of the huge rack of ribs was gone. I asked her if she wanted to eat the bones too and she said "Are you Joking" I couldn't believe it but was proud.

As a proud father I take pleasure in sharing that her 3 favorite foods are Ribs, Red Beans and Rice, and Boiled Crawfish.
  2. Hmmm...last night? About 4 glasses of pinot grigio at a friend's happy hour.
  3. Filet mignon, butternut squash, baked potato and spinach. My neighbors adopted me while my husband was playing poker.

  4. I bought a pack of 2 bacon wrapped filets at Wal Mart, for about $6. They are small, but tasty. I broiled mine on my gas grill, max high heat for 12 min. per side, and they were well worth the money. I would say you can throw them in the oven on Broil, same 12 min. per side. Pretty quick, good, easy, cheap deal. I hear they are at Sam's also, but I don't have a card there.
  5. Oven baked chicken breasts and stuffing "casserole."
  6. antipasto salad, bacon wrapped filets with sauteed mushrooms.
  7. Taco soup and chips

(Steaks tomorrow night and steaks for Christmas Eve...)
  8. Steaks with a garlic white gravy, corn, and garlic and oregano mashed potatoes. Yummy.
