anyone know what mathematical principle it works on ?

I used one in freshman year at LSU.
  2. Logarithms.

You cheapskate. A six-function TI calculator only cost $300 in 1973!
  3. oh, ok, it's an instrument used in circumcisions.

    Damn, how dumb am I?
  4. ...add, subtract, multiply, divide, square root, square function...I got one when they came down to $50.

They were an unfair advantage in class. I can only count to 21 on my fingers and toes...I'm mathematically declined !!:).

In calculus, I could set up most problems but not get the answer because of arithmetic mistakes... so I broke down and got one. I used the money I made from my job at a restaurant during the summer (can't remember which one)

PS I tried to delete that huge picture and replace it with another but to no avail.
