Seen something similar to this in the hospital museum, old antique surgical instruments. Pretty sure this gruesome thing was used for hemorrhoid removal.

Ironically, the newer instrumentation is not much different, which is still pretty "invasive", unless they laser them off.

 

Did those implements come out of the top drawer of the dresser in your bedroom ???
