1. must be some piece of an instrument with that hint.

an inner piece of a bagpipe?
  2. Bagpipes don't work like that. Can't be that
  3. I was almost being facetious with my last guess. Now I have to go find one of those freaking whistles and blow on it and see what it does. Beginning to think this thing might be able to make a scale.
  4. well i know that, slick. im narrowing it down.
  5. So if you knew that, you just felt the need to vocalize some stupid shit? ;)

  6. just like almost every guess in this thread everyone knew was wrong when they posted, theyre just thinking out loud narrowing it down. like im doing, asswipe.

  7. I think you are right, that is exactly what it is, only made from surgical tubing rather than whistle tubes. That nipple on the wooden part is a mouthpiece and it makes noise.
  8. Its a musical instrument. Its called a branching corrugahorn. When air rushes through a corrugated tube, it can produce an audible tone. That’s the idea behind the branching corrugahorn. A single mouthpiece leads to an air chamber with several corrugated tubes leading from it. The player blows into the mouthpiece while stopping the tubes by covering the ends with fingertips. Whenever the player lifts a finger to open a tube, that tube will sound. By blowing harder or softer, the player makes the air go faster or slower to bring out different notes in each tube. Each tube can produce several notes, and between three or four of them they produce a complete scale.
