    Pretty sure it is used in pipe fitting, to align flanges and stuff like that. I don't have time to find a picture so whoever post first can take my turn

    It is actually pretty fun. I don't think I'd want to do it for a living, nor would I trust anything I weld to you know, hold up under a strong breeze, be water tight, or well it looks like crap but its fun.

    I only like to weld on the weekends when I'm not farming or working on oil rigs.

    Oh wait, you mean the lead or the rod. Ahhh yes. I am MUCH MUCH MUCH better with one of those auto feed jobs than with a stick. I still get the nose tacked onto the metal once in a while with auto but not nearly as much. Okay back on topic before we piss red off but then again who cares right?
