1. Having used one of these, I can assure you it could NOT be used on an outboard.
  2. I'm gonna defer to mobius, but cs you would not have one on your 26
  3. Inboard boats. It has nothing to do with the motor though. It just doesn't physically work with outboards the way the motor is positioned on the boat.
  4. I wish I had a 26. My dad does.

I had a 19 and lost it in the divorce. :(
  5. does it have something to do with the transducer?
  6. No.

and I had to look up transducer to know what that was. You're in the wrong water activity
  7. A bag of potatoes could be used on an outboard, just not effectively. A better way to put it is that it isn't used, not that it cannot. Clearly it could.
  8. You have a hard time listening. It could not be used with an outboard motor just like you couldn't have a hard bed cover on your pick up truck while you pull a gooseneck trailer.
  9. Is it a bracket that protects the motor when it's in transit?
  10. I know nothing about inboards, but on outboards, there is a lever that keep the motor propped up after you trim the motor up when it's in transit.

Is this one of those, but for outboards?

    I'm reaching.
