1. Back on topic. We know its not a print duplicator, rock sampler, 3D protractor.

It is a Surgical instrument, but not used to insert something under bone or biopsy the brain.
  2. Is this one of those dealios (technical term) that they would use for a MacGyverish facial reconstruction from a skull?
  3. not used for facial reconstruction. It was used during the treatment of a particular type of trauma
  4. Like when my head explodes after my wife comes home from shopping ????
  5. Is this spinal tap?
  6. Nope, not a spinal tap. this was in use in the early 1900's
  7. Maybe it's a guide for a drill. like when you need to get through the cranium for a frontal lobotomy.
  8. It was used as a guide, but not for a drill or a lobotomy. Surgeons used this device to 'locate' something that needed to be removed.
  9. Is that what happened to my other half of a brain?

I've always bragged about my IQ....it's 70...not too shabby for only half a brain !!!
  10. Used to locate and remove kidney stones?
