dandy: In basketball recruiting news, I have been told that Darrell Arthur from South Garland high school in the Dallas area did not visit LSU this past weekend because of playing in a tournament in Dallas, but will most likely visit LSU in the next week or two. I have been told that LSU's coaching staff likes its chances with Darrell Arthur who contacted LSU after seeing the Tigers play in the NCAA tournament.

well it looks more and more like hes a lsu tiger right now....hes playing in an aau tournament in Louisiana sometime this week where he will announce his commitment.
i like it more and more dandy: In basketball news, according to several reports LSU has received a commitment from Darrell Arthur (6'9") from South Oak Cliff High in Dallas, Texas. I said in my Monday morning update that Arthur attends South Garland high school, but I was wrong. According to a report I received, Darrell Arthur will be playing in an AAU tournament in Louisiana this weekend and will announce his commitment to LSU at that time. Arthur is expected to take Tyrus Thomas' place in the LSU starting lineup, but I believe that Darnell Lazare and Magnum Rolle will have a lot to say about that.
